Online PD for Teachers

Multiple Courses
EdX has lots of online courses from universities around the world. The courses are free, unless you want a certificate and then you can pay a fee. I have done a few courses related to inquiry and design. There are new classes since I last used the website and they look good! SDG Academy also has multiple courses on the EdX website.

One month free and then paid. You can search multiple courses including using certain tools with an educator's lens. For example, using Apple's Keynote for Educators.

Tech Company Teacher Certifications
Personally I feel that these certifications require a lot of dedication and effort. However, I also believe they are worth it. All teachers should have a look at Level 1 and then see how they feel from there. There are courses for you to work through and then you can book a test for a small fee with a 3 hour time limit.
A simple badging system that you can work through at your own pace about an iPad or Mac version of the apps. Take an additional challenge for your Swift Coding recognition on top of being an Apple Teacher. Apple has created great teacher resources to learn new skills which are continually added to.
Lots of course options. Choose what courses you want to take and earn enough points to use towards your MIE badge.
